Core Systems Integration Sdn Bhd (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates the https://www.coresi.com.my website (the “Site”). We provide the CSI Software (“Software”) and manage operations of the CSI Services (“Services”). The Software can be downloaded for a free trial within a predetermined period of time. Upon expiry of the trial period, users may opt to continue using the Software by paying a subscription fee via our online payment facility. The Software may require registration in order to use certain Services provided via our Site. From time to time, new services may be added which improve, modify or extend the functionalities of the CSI Software.
This privacy statement discloses how we use and safeguard information and resources you provide in using CSI Software and Services. These privacy practices apply to the Site that you were viewing when you clicked through to this policy, which is operated by us directly.

3. Information Collection and Use
3.1 Use of Information
CSI does not sell, rent, loan, trade, lease or otherwise transfer any personal information collected through CSI Software or Services to any third party outside the CSI network. We will treat any information you provide to CSI limited as confidential information and will not disclose it to any third party outside the CSI network. We will provide information collected through the network to other users in the network only with your explicit permission as granted by you through applicable settings available in the Software. This information is generally not stored by CSI at all and is instead voluntarily shared by users to and from other users in the network.
Generally, we use the information we gather for the following purposes:
- To customize the advertising and content you see.
- To enhance the user experience in our Site. We use tracking information to determine how well each page performs overall based on aggregate user demographics and traffic patterns to those pages. This helps us continue to build a better service for you.
- To fulfill your requests for certain products and services, such as sending out electronic newsletters and enabling users to participate in paid services, polls, contests, promotions and message boards.
- To send you information you agreed to receive about topics we think will be of interest to you.
3.2 Use of Your Personal Information
You may decide whether to proceed with any activity that requests personally identifiable information. If you do not wish to provide the requested information, however, you may not be able to complete the transaction. We do not collect information from individuals under the age of 13. If you are under the age of 13, we ask that you do not submit any personal information through the Site. If we have specific knowledge that an individual under the age of 13 has submitted personally identifiable information to the Site, we will delete such information permanently and without notice.
Except as described below, CSI will only disclose your personally identifiable information to third parties if acting under a good faith belief that such action is necessary (1) to conform to legal requirements; (2) to protect and defend the rights or property of CSI ; (3) to enforce the CSI Terms of Service; or (4) in the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of all or substantially all CSI’s assets relating to the business in connection with which the information was collected. CSI collects personally identifiable information that can be divided into the following categories:
Technical Support: If you request technical support online, we will ask you for information necessary to complete the transaction such as your name, email address and information about your computer hardware, software, and the nature of the problem you are experiencing.
Surveys: CSI may periodically requests information from users via surveys. Participation in these surveys is completely voluntary and you have a choice whether or not to disclose this information. CSI uses a third-party Web-Based Interviewing System to compile the surveys but distributes and administers the surveys internally via our servers. Information requested in the surveys is broad demographic information (such as zip code, age level) for aggregate use and does not identify the user. No cookies are used. Survey information is not sold, shared, or rented to any third party, and is used internally solely by CSI for purposes of improving the use and satisfaction of this Site.
Affiliates: When a user or a company signs up to be a marketing program affiliate, they do so through a third-party provider of affiliate marketing programs. Such third-party provider does share personally identifiable information about affiliates with CSI. This information is not sold, shared, or rented to any third party, and is used internally only to manage and maintain relationships with affiliates.
If you choose to invite a friend to join CSI through a menu option in the software, you will be directed to a web page and will have the possibility of adding one or more email addresses in an online form. Any information entered in this form is stored temporarily and is used only for the purposes of automatically generating an email message to these users. The CSI website may also contain feedback forms where feedback can be reported directly to CSI employees. Any and all information which is voluntarily submitted in such feedback forms are used for the purposes of reviewing this feedback and improving the CSI Software and Services. CSI reserves the right to utilize this information for marketing purposes, for instance by displaying selected comments on its website or in other communications. If CSI chooses to display a user-submitted comment it will either display it anonymously, stripping away all personally identifiable information, or request permission directly from you before displaying it.
3.3 No Extraneous System Information Collected
No information concerning your computing facilities is collected that is not related to providing CSI Services, including other installed software systems, non-service-related content, or hardware peripherals. No information about your specific computing facilities will be provided to any third party unless required by the Terms of Agreement of a Service with which you have registered.
4. Security of Your Information
CSI carefully protects the security of the personal information you provide. Personal information we collect is stored in secured servers with limited access, and we protect this information from loss or misuse, and from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Your computer resources cannot be accessed by any third party through CSI Software.
4.1 What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
4.2 Delete/Deactivation Policy
If you wish to delete any personal Information you submitted to CSI , you may do so by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will notify you of our receipt of your request. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to functionally delete all such information (excluding any information necessary in order to detect fraudulent use) from our database within fifteen working days from the date of the receipt of your request. Please note that it may be impossible to delete a user’s entry without some residual Information because of backups and records of deletions. CSI reserves the right not to delete information in order to comply with applicable local laws or regulations.
Unless you request that we delete any of the information you submitted to CSI when you registered for any electronic updates and/or newsletters we may offer, we will store such information for a period of two years or for the period of time stipulated in applicable laws and regulations, whichever is greatest. Upon expiration of that time, all such information will be deleted.
5. Privacy of Children
No part of our Software and Services is directed to children. We will never knowingly collect information from users under the age of 13.
6. Our Practice Regarding Cookies
Your Internet browser has a feature called “cookies” which stores small amounts of data on your computer about your visit to any of our sites. You do not need to have cookies turned on to visit most of our sites, although active participation in certain areas of our sites may require cookies. Cookies alone tell us nothing about who you are unless you specifically give us personally identifiable information when, in which case we use the information to enhance your services in the ways described below. You may elect not to allow cookies to be collected by adjusting your settings on your browser.
In order to complete transactions on our site, we do use session cookies. These session cookies do not collect information about you, only about your browser session, and they are destroyed when you close your browser. No data is stored on your computer.
7. CSI Software
7.1 Software Installation
CSI Software is installed on computers with an installer downloaded from www.coresi.com.my or other designated web sites. CSI Services may also be provided through other applications that utilize the CSI Software. These applications are required to display the CSI End User License Agreement before the Software is installed. You can uninstall the CSI Software from the standard Windows Control Panel at any time.
7.2 Software Updates
The CSI Software contains update functionality. This enables the Software to determine that there is a newer version available, which has improved or new functionality and/or bug fixes. You will be asked for your permission before an update is performed unless you have specifically authorized CSI to automatically update your software without notification. The Software may however update non-program files from time to time without asking the user. These updates are only used to update file indices, configurations and other non-critical objects. These updates only pertain to executable files.
